Zabbix LLC has announced the release of the latest version of Zabbix Long Term Support (LTS). Zabbix 6.0 LTS brings many of the expected features and enhancements. LTS versions are a major part of the Zabbix new release cycle and come with guaranteed 5-year support that provides additional features, fixes and enhancements throughout the lifecycle.

Service monitoring has undergone a major overhaul. Zabbix 6.0 LTS aims to provide users with added value for their business by leveraging new business services monitoring (BSM) features. Business Services Monitoring combines flexibility, performance, and an improved user interface to provide our end users with the tools they need to monitor their business services and perform automated cause analysis. An enhanced SLA reporting feature, developed in collaboration with a Slovak company, provides the tools needed to track business service level indicators (SLI) to ensure that your team meets set service level objectives (SLO).

The "out-of-the-box" high availability solution allows Zabbix users to deploy a Zabbix Server HA cluster without the use of any external tools. Users can now deploy one or more backup nodes to ensure zero downtime during unplanned downtime, server updates, or other maintenance tasks.

With Zabbix machine learning, anomaly detection and basic monitoring are now easier than ever. Our goal was to provide a simple but flexible set of features that would allow our users to take a machine learning approach instead of relying only on static problem thresholds.

As containers and container orchestration systems become more widespread in the IT world, it has been extremely important that the latest version of Zabbix LTS provides an adequate monitoring solution for such infrastructures.
