In today’s world of an online transfer of information, the IT services failure lasting for only several minutes can cause big losses or loss of reputation for the company or a public administration. We are here to help avoiding such situations so that the end user can use the infrastructure twenty-four seven.

The prerequisite of 100% availability is the cooperation of individual components of the infrastructure – servers, operating systems or disk fields, in a way to be able to react to eventual failures and without limiting the system functionality.

Not everything is compatible though. Only the experienced and well-organized team is able to manage the deadlines and often even demanding or stressful situations.

In our work, we rely on our 16-year experience in the area of data care. Later on, the field of data backup and recovery was enriched by further areas necessary for the infrastructure to guarantee the client’s requirements. Our partner on the client’s side is the head of an IT department who is responsible for the correct and trouble-free systems operation.

The history of the eGroup Solutions, a.s. Company is mainly based on personal experience and professionalism of people who established it. We met before under the brand ASBIS SK. Later on, we worked together in its eGroup Division offering systemic, storage and software solutions or configuration of high-end servers.

The year 2009 brought the establishment of the separate company and brand eGroup. In the course of searching for answers to questions of using any solutions and systems for the data administration and protection, we encountered an important fact: almost 90% of companies and the physical entities as well, do not have their important data protected to necessary extent and at minimum the half of them does not have the slightest idea why they should do it. Somewhere here is where our company’s determination started.

The range of services offered expanded gradually: at first, it was a backup and recovery of customer data and later on, we got to the solutions of weak points of common information systems when protecting these data. „The experience with supporting systems affirmed our opinion that the reliable and secure operation of information system is only possible to achieve when you have a suitable design from the very beginning,“ mentions Štefan Orosz, the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. And what was the solution for the customers’ troubles? „Different partial backup applications up to the integral and sophisticated complex systems for backup and recovery of data, systems, databases and applications within one single solution,“ explains Rudolf Bohuš, the Executive Director.

The volume of processed data and the number of customers became larger. Since every company needs to know what is going on with the data during their lifecycle, another element completing the concept of data administration and protection were the applications for their supervision and the support of customers during their administration. „Although there are a lot of systems and applications for an IT operation and administration, not all of them are applicable for every customer and his data,“ adds Rudolf Bohuš. The time has come to search for designs and solutions fulfilling the specific needs of the clients. Of course in a way to be able to use every available technology and system from the very beginning in order to secure full reliability and secure operation of the systems and protection of customer data. Using the virtualization systems, high-availability technologies, disaster recovery and related infrastructure software proved to be the right way.

With each custom made solution, the experience and knowledge of the team about the individual structural elements and their producers increased:„The proof of our competence to design, implement and administer the solution is the wide range of successfully executed projects in a public or private sector,“ emphasizes Štefan Orosz.

For the members of our team, the clients’ satisfaction is the source of energy and the work motivation at the same time. „We understood one thing that only a well-organized and experienced team willing to learn can succeed. Suitable design, execution and subsequent operation requires close cooperation, which is the cornerstone of our entire work and business,“ says Marián Benko, the Chairman of the Board of Directors. „Our company culture is based on an honest work with respect to professionalism without which we couldn’t successfully deliver any of our projects.“
